Fancy a life of nobility in Amboise? The Château de la Vallière (listed as a historic monument, steeped in history, and with construction beginning in the 13th century) is the address for you.
The concept? No hotel rooms, but two gîtes for rent. The first is located in the castle's outbuildings (in an old chocolate factory) and can accommodate 3 people. We love its interior design: a triplex loft with a metal-industrial style. Outside, a wood-fired sauna. A little gem of privacy where you can go without hesitation for a weekend for two. The gîte for 10 people is located in a part of the castle. With 5 bedrooms and a private pool, it has the feel of a cozy house with «bed and breakfast» furniture, featuring colorful rooms (yellow, red, blue...).

Flower of the Loire
In Blois, in the building designed by Gaston d'Orléans (son of Henry IV and Marie de' Medici), Fleur de Loire is a former hospice with incredible charm. Along the water, this 5-star hotel with spa, housed 44 rooms, including 11 suites. Large windows open to the Ligurian landscapes, conceived as elegant caskets, theirdecor is inspired by the river: its sandbanks and floral processions which are found on fabric and tapestry patterns.
