If you're not familiar with Bray or the county of Berkshire, the Muse Bray Cottages will make you want to visit this little village located very close to the famous Windsor Castle. Just like all the chain locations, English cottages will offer you an unexpected opportunity to stay in a place that’s both stylish and cozy: luxury, Muse-style.

Because in the heart of this small, typical English countryside village, you'll come across a design gem: the Muse Cottages, among which is the Lavender House. A true little haven tucked away behind a facade dating from 1700, the Lavender House welcomes you for a restful and relaxing stay so British. Glass, concrete, wood, and brick: on a sunny day, you’ll be able to fully enjoy everything the cottage has to offer—a minimalist indoor garden and a bright, airy kitchen. The place is definitely designed to let the sun in. And on rainy days, the home theater (equipped with state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen gear) invites you to escape—all from the comfort of your couch!

Just like a Firmdale Hotel, we love the warm, refined decor, with a touch of originality in the choice of colors, patterns, and fabrics. The «Master Bedroom» awaits you if you’ve decided to spend several days in the region: a huge walk-in closet, a king-size bed, and a spacious bathroom. Everything has been thought out so that you’ll feel just as pampered as royalty.

And since you asked, please know that the concierge service can fulfill all your requests: babysitting, organizing an outing, a picnic… all your wishes will be granted. And if minimalist design and white tones inspire you, don’t hesitate to choose the «White Suite» located in Bray House.

In a nutshell

  • Extreme sophistication in interior design.
  • Very attentive service for an unforgettable experience.
  • A must-visit destination for foodies.

Dining: The Fat Duck

Is it really necessary to introduce this restaurant—a three-Michelin-starred establishment ranked among the best in the world and once at the top of the list? Visiting Bray without booking a dinner at the Fat Duck is practically a crime of lèse-majesté. On the other hand, if you want a table, it’s strongly recommended that you make a reservation VERY far in advance. A tasting menu is offered, which will allow you to fully appreciate Chef Heston Blumenthal’s talent.

Just so you know, Bray is also home to the Waterside Inn—which has three Michelin stars—and several other Michelin-starred restaurants. You'll be spoiled for choice.

The English countryside might make you want some trendy rubber boots or umbrellas… it depends!

Windsor Castle is a 15-minute drive away. You simply can't miss this symbol of the British monarchy.
