Get ready to feel like hopping on a plane as soon as you finish reading this article! The Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa is located in the heart of a breathtaking lagoon on Vietnam’s east coast. Absolutely stunning, this enchanting retreat is nothing less than Vietnam’s first hotel to offer overwater villas. You’re quite far from it all: the hotel isn’t designed to be close to the major cities in the area—quite the opposite! If you’re looking for peace, serenity, and above all, a little paradise away from the world, you’re going to love it!

Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa has only 27 villas and bungalows, ensuring you’ll avoid overcrowding and guaranteeing true privacy. There are a number of different accommodation options, including bungalows on land with lagoon views, as well as villas with their own private pools. But of course, our preference is for the overwater bungalows: although they have only one bedroom, they offer the major advantage of an absolutely ideal location and a terrace where you can simply let time slip away.

Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa offers a variety of places to have dinner, lunch, an afternoon snack, or enjoy a cocktail at sunset. We love The Twilight for its romantic atmosphere and ideal location, with a magnificent view of the lagoon. And because «Vedana» means “sensation” in Sanskrit, the focus is on relaxation and recharging your batteries. The resort’s primary goal? To invite you to take home sensory memories of your stay in Vietnam.

If you’re the active type, Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa might not be the ideal destination. On the other hand, if you’re looking to pamper yourself and relax on the terrace of your bungalow, you’ll feel like you’re in paradise! The focus is on all-natural 100%, from the dishes served to you to the treatments offered at the spa. A true breath of well-being for your body and mind!

In a nutshell

Inspiration

Shopping
Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam. It is home to numerous monuments as well as a variety of stalls selling local products and souvenirs. It’s the perfect time to choose between small Vietnamese dolls and traditional incense! You can also sample local specialties at the various markets.

Out for a walk
Bach Ma National Park is about a 20-minute drive away. Hiking enthusiasts will love exploring the area: nestled between forests and mountains, the scenery is breathtaking. And if you’d rather go for a swim, head to Canh Duong Beach: stretching 8 kilometers long and 200 meters wide, it’s the perfect spot for a family outing!

Zen
Your hotel’s spa uses 100% natural products, some of which come from the Vedana garden or local suppliers. In addition to the sauna and hot tub, treat yourself to a spa treatment. These treatments are designed to be a truly immersive experience: they last between two and four hours. The treatment Peace and Quiet combines an orange scrub, a Swedish body treatment, an aromatherapy facial, and a hand treatment. Pure bliss!

In the suitcase
One waterproof sunscreen and high-level protection. Hats, sunglasses, sarongs, and swimsuits are must-haves.
