At the foot of the Jura mountains, 15 minutes from Geneva airport, this 5 stars A member of Relais & Châteaux, this establishment is nestled within a 45-hectare natural park. Between 2019 and 2020, the property was reimagined by the expert eye of Italian architect Cristina Gherardi Benardeaul, who brought a new perspective to the entire space, both inside and out. This renovation included the creation of 20 new rooms designed like minimalist lodges, a lobby composed of a series of alcoves and cozy lounges, and a spa with an outdoor pool. Without resorting to spectacular decorative effects, the architect imparts a discreet luxury through the use of raw, natural materials such as concrete, oak wood, and wool. With magnificent views of the Haut Jura mountains, the hotel establishes itself as a peaceful haven conducive to a Weekend in nature.
With a total of 50 rooms and suites – including 4 lodges with private jacuzzis – the upscale resort impresses with its sleek furnishings, natural hues, and sense of comfort. The architect opted for wood paneling for the ceiling, smoked oak parquet flooring, and large bay windows opening onto the surrounding mountains and forests.
For leisure, the hotel offers a 9-hole golf course (with 18 tee boxes), two clay tennis courts, and a boat rental facility and a private cinema. Around the hotel, you'll find a jogging path and roads to explore by bike, which are provided free of charge by the hotel.
At the top of the poster, two tables are vying for attention: Le Jardin and Le Jiva. At Le Jardin, under the guidance of Italian chef Francesco Zambotti, the à la carte dishes change weekly and celebrate the best of Italian gastronomy (pizza, risotto, a succulent ribeye steak for two...). At Le Jiva, a bistronomic restaurant, chef Jean-François Vasseur follows the rhythm of the seasons with refined recipes and the mouth-watering pastries of chef Julien Meunier!
