St. Paul Hotel, Montreal, Canada
June 19, 2017 Pauline

Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the’St. Paul Hotel is a member of the Design Hotels™. With 119 rooms and suites, this hotel is the ideal base for a sightseeing trip to the city. Deliberately trendy, the St. Paul Hotel will appeal to anyone who loves modern design, a touch of urban chic, and attentive service.

To make the most of your stay, choose a room or suite on the Signature floor: they all feature 4-meter-high ceilings, and the bathrooms are larger. This floor also features the Black Suite : Very elegant and bright (despite its name), it has a huge bathroom that you're sure to love.

This hotel in Montreal has been recognized as Canada’s very first design hotel. We love the contrast between the early 20th-century building and the interior, which is much more modern yet still warm and inviting. To create unique spaces, the elements of fire, ice, earth, and sea are incorporated into various areas of the hotel. We particularly love the «sky» rooms. Upon entering your room, you’ll be delighted to find raw materials such as stone, wood, and metal.

The St. Paul Hotel features a restaurant and bar called the Hambar. In a chic, urban 100% atmosphere, guests can enjoy fresh, flavorful cuisine made with market-fresh ingredients. Brunch is also served there on weekends. The Atrium is located on the 2nde The second floor invites you to relax—whether you’re reading or enjoying a coffee break—and you can take this opportunity to admire the view.

In a nutshell

  • A boutique hotel in the heart of Montreal.
  • Canada's very first design hotel.
  • Raw materials such as stone, wood, or metal.

Dining: Holder

On the same street as the St. Paul Hotel, we choose the restaurant Holder for the variety of dishes on offer. We also love going there for weekend brunch and can’t resist indulging in the many desserts. An unpretentious spot with a super friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy brasserie-style dishes, pasta, or seafood. It’s the perfect place for a rainy evening or a hearty meal in the winter.
