Because a venue befitting the expectations of the many visitors was needed Louvre-Lens Museum, an eponymous hotel has sprung up and is already generating a lot of buzz.
More than just an opening, it was a metamorphosis that led to the creation of the Hôtel Louvre-Lens. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site (no less...), just like the mining basin in which it is located, the building is a living testament to the city's industrial past.
It is Esprit de France, through the firm Maes Architectes from Lille and interior designer Guillaume Da Silva from Roubaix, that transformed a set of workers' houses into a small jewel of a hotel, proudly displaying four stars.
Just three minutes (yes, you read that right) from the museum, the establishment has 52 rooms, a fitness and wellness area, a brasserie, and a bar.
And to charm its guests, the Hôtel Louvre-Lens has a secret weapon: a private art collection, as well as collaborations with the nearby museum and the Regional Photography Centre of Hauts-de-France.
And the rooms?
They play on shadow and light, black and white, in short, on the contrasts of materials and textures, while offering a comfortable atmosphere, without ever losing sight of the modern and design spirit.

Le Galibot is a place for sharing and delicious conviviality: open 7 days a week, the Hôtel Louvre-Lens restaurant presents itself as a brasserie where it's pleasant to enjoy fresh, seasonal products, with a reinterpretation of local culinary classics.
Charcuterie, cheeses, beer, but also ice cream, teas and coffees are selected from very close suppliers.
The bar, more lively, for its part offers a wide selection of custom cocktails and beers. The perfect place for a weekend with friends.

Marc Meurin's Workshop
Restaurant of double Michelin-starred chef Marc Meurin, born in Lens and deeply attached to the gastronomy of his native region, it is located within the Louvre-Lens museum itself.
The menu skillfully incorporates seasonal ingredients and changes four or five times a year. We love the market menu at 33 or 62 euros, ideal for a museum visit, and we unreservedly indulge in the Apricot Frangipane with pistachio, white chocolate syrup, and rum.
Particularly bright, the dining room is a real asset to the venue in itself, which also opens onto a beautiful terrace on sunny days.

The Hôtel Louvre-Lens welcomes your family: the room designed for your tribe can accommodate up to 4 people, with a Queen Size bed and a sofa bed. We particularly appreciate the very bright bathrooms thanks to a large window.
Children will love breakfast with a buffet offering a selection of hot dishes, organic products, and excellent country bread for delicious, hearty toast.
