It’s hard to visit Las Vegas without encountering some kitsch. If you like over-the-top hotels—the kind with slot machines in the lobby and an abundance of stucco—you’ll find plenty of options: virtually every hotel in Las Vegas fits this description. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a hotel that’s elegant, sophisticated, and far from the frenzied hustle and bustle of the Strip: the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is waiting for you

Among the few highly recommended hotels in Las Vegas is located at the Waldorf Astoria. Located a little off the beaten path, at the end of the city’s famous, must-see boulevard, stepping inside feels like entering a haven of peace, far from the noise and fury of Sin City. Fans of the hotel chain won’t be surprised by the size of the rooms or the sophistication of the decor and materials. Yet, even for regular guests, we’re willing to bet that the view of the Strip from the room will thrill (and that’s an understatement) even the most skeptical: with floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll likely spend the night gazing out the window!

The biggest highlight of the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas is its services and restaurants. Children are pampered with thoughtful touches designed just for them (special meals, tea time for the little ones, babysitting, and they’ll lend you just about anything you need, from strollers to bath toys).

When it comes to amenities, the Waldorf Astoria really stands out here as well: two swimming pools, two hot tubs, and a private pool await you on the 8th floor, among other thingse floor. Of course, the fitness center is a great way to unwind, although going for a jog at 7 a.m. on the Strip makes you feel like you have the whole city to yourself!

And for an extra dose of relaxation after a day spent exploring hotels and casinos, head to the spa: with its incredibly soothing atmosphere that invites you to let go completely, this place is sure to help you recharge.

Dining: Twist by Pierre Gagnaire

The Waldorf Astoria has three restaurants, all of which come highly recommended. We love Twist by Pierre Gagnaire for its creative, colorful dishes and attention to detail. The tasting menu is available in four- or five-course options, and there is also a fully vegetarian tasting menu with four or five courses. Flavors, textures, and pairings: everything is carefully crafted to create a delicious dining experience.
