Located in the heart of the desert, between Utah and Arizona, the’Amangiri It's one of those hotels where you don't come back quite the same as when you left for vacation. The reason? An incredible place. Just imagine: your hotel is almost an hour's drive from the nearest town in Arizona; you're in Canyon Point, in an establishment that was designed to almost disappear into the landscape. You are an integral part of the nature that surrounds you.

Amangiri welcomes you to a resort centered around a main pavilion. This pavilion offers you an impressive view of the outdoors. Inside, you'll find the dining room, an art gallery, a library, a common room with breathtaking views, and fireplaces. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features an open kitchen. You'll enjoy a beautiful view of the pool and terrace on one side, and the vast surrounding desert on the other.

When it comes to relaxation, Amangiri pulls out all the stops. The Aman Spa at Amangiri offers over 2,000 m² of unwinding space, complete with a steam room, a spa, and à la carte treatments. The swimming pool is superb and one-of-a-kind, as it hugs the rock face. It is, of course, heated during the winter. A gym is available for your use, and the hotel's terraces allow you to lounge at your leisure.

The 34 suites at Amangiri are all equally beautiful. Prices range from $1,000 per night for the Desert View Suite to over $3,500 for the Amangiri Suite. Some have their own small pool (which can be heated as desired), and all have breathtaking views. Each suite features a king-size bed, a sofa, a desk, a seating area, and a dressing room. The bathrooms are very spacious, equipped with a very large shower and a bathtub. One of the charms of the Amangiri suites certainly lies in the outdoor spaces, designed to protect your privacy while allowing you to admire the desert or fall asleep on a sofa, with your head in the stars.

Of course, between the pool, the spa, the yoga classes, and your suite, it will be difficult to leave Amangiri. However, if you wish to go for a walk, there are many hiking trails starting from the hotel, whether you are a beginner or an experienced hiker. Horseback rides are also available. Obviously, the Grand Canyon offers many hours of walking depending on your level, and Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Monument Valley National Parks are also quite close.

In a nutshell

  • Without a doubt one of the most beautiful hotels in the world.
  • Let it all go for a few days in the middle of the desert.
  • An incredible service and a sublime pool.
