SAX Paris Hotel: a 5-star hotel across from the Eiffel Tower, in the 7th arrondissement
May 29, 2026 Audrey

Art gallery, cocktail bar, seasonal restaurant, Japanese rooftop, spa: on Avenue de Saxe in the 7th arrondissement, the SAX is much more than just a hotel. As the first French property in Hilton’s prestigious LXR collection, this brand-new 5-star hotel aims to become the new hotspot on the Left Bank. Dive into a place where guests come for much more than just one night.

A living room that opens onto the city

Right at the entrance, a gallery filled with artwork and Bar 55 set the tone, cocktail in hand. Veined marble, clean lines, sculpted lighting, and fine materials: the decor embodies a lived-in contemporary style, punctuated by an artistic signature that extends from floor to floor. Here, the’hotel near the Eiffel Tower It welcomes Parisians and travelers alike: people come here to work, meet up, or sip a glass of fine champagne, and the venue hosts everything from meetings to private receptions. Bar 55, meanwhile, serves up its creative cocktails, wines, and exceptional sparkling wines at the bar or, on sunny days, in the secret garden, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

SAX55, the Seasonal Table

On the ground floor of the’5-star hotel, SAX55 serves seasonal cuisine from morning to night: carefully selected ingredients, simple, unpretentious dishes, and an elegant atmosphere both at the bar and in the garden. Start your day here with signature eggs, pastries, and dishes prepared to order, then return for lunch or dinner to enjoy a menu that changes with the market.

The Kinugawa Rooftop, with a view of the Eiffel Tower

It is at the very top, however, that the SAX plays its strongest card. The rooftop boasts a panoramic terrace overlooking Paris and its landmarks, and is home to Kinugawa Rive Gauche, the Parisian extension of the famous Japanese restaurant: sashimi, maki, and fish grilled over binchotan charcoal, all served in an elegant setting. Head up there for lunch with a view of the city, for an aperitif at sunset—the hour when the “grand dame” lights up—or for a dinner that stretches into the night. And on Sundays, it’s time for Kinugawa’s signature brunch: a Japanese-inspired buffet, signature sushi, and matcha cocktails, with Paris stretching out as far as the eye can see.

Rooms that let in plenty of light

When it comes to accommodations, the rooms and suites exude a simple, luminous elegance. Some overlook the zinc-roofed buildings of the 7th arrondissement, while others look out onto the garden, where the hustle and bustle of the city fades away; a select few feature a private terrace for morning coffee. The Le Bon Marché-branded minibar pays homage to the neighboring department store, and room sizes range from 24 m² to the 80 m² Signature Suite, including the Winter Garden Suite with its winter garden ambiance. Everywhere, the marble and meticulous finishes speak to a luxury rooted in attention to detail.

Spa, pool, and gym

To help you unwind after a day of exploring Paris, the SAX offers a comprehensive wellness experience: a spa, a pool, a hot tub, and a gym. It’s the perfect way to relax your muscles, swim a few laps, and treat yourself to a spa treatment before heading back up for a drink at the bar.

Just a few steps from the Champ-de-Mars

Then there’s the neighborhood—and what a neighborhood it is. Close to the Eiffel Tower and the Champ-de-Mars, just a stone’s throw from the École Militaire, SAX has the Left Bank as its playground: Le Bon Marché, Les Invalides, and the shopping arcades of Saint-Germain are all within walking distance. To take things a step further, the concierge service orchestrates tailor-made experiences—a private tour of the Eiffel Tower, a guide all to yourself and access to floors closed to the public, a personal shopper at Le Bon Marché, or even a private jet departing from Le Bourget for a quick lunch in Venice.

At SAX, people come to experience life as much as to sleep: with its gallery, dining areas, rooftop, and spa, the hotel is designed to be a space that opens onto the city—and, in our view, marks one of the year’s most exciting new arrivals.
