The Zannier Chalet

Megève, France

Chalet Zannier, France
June 30, 2017 Pauline

The Zannier Chalet It’s a true haven of peace in a ski resort known for its flashy, showy atmosphere. Combining luxury with comfortable and inviting materials, the property attracts guests seeking tranquility and elegance. Far from the large hotels of Megève, this guesthouse—which offers a level of hospitality worthy of the finest establishments—consists of three chalets and twelve rooms and suites. A chalet that can be rented out entirely for private use is also available for weekly rentals.

The rooms and suites are tastefully furnished and decorated, without detracting from the chalet’s own atmosphere. In winter, the fireplace in the living room will undoubtedly make you want to curl up on a sofa with a good book. On sunny days, enjoy the beautiful terrace at Chalet Zannier.

The restaurant welcomes you for dinner in a warm and friendly atmosphere, serving refined dishes that blend creativity and tradition. At lunchtime, in the afternoon, or for an aperitif, light snacks and treats are available in your room, on the terrace, at the bar, or in the lounge.

A place where serenity reigns, Chalet Zannier naturally features a beautiful spa, where you can enjoy treatments or use the steam room and sauna. The hotel also has an indoor pool.

Whether as a peaceful respite before or after long hours on the slopes, or as a soothing retreat during an off-season mountain getaway, Chalet Zannier is sure to charm anyone seeking tranquility, comfort, and attentive service.

In a nutshell

  • A place where luxury is anything but ostentatious—warm and perfectly designed.
  • A moment of relaxation in the beautiful spa.
  • An interior design that makes extensive use of wood and stone.

Dining: The Chalet Restaurant

After a day on the slopes or hiking in the area, you’ll appreciate the comfort and quality of the dishes at the Chalet’s restaurant. Chef Julien Burlat is committed to blending authenticity and creativity. The restaurant also serves breakfast, and room service is, of course, available in the evening. Small, gourmet snacks are served from noon to 6 p.m. in the library lounge or on the terrace.

With the kids

The chalet is perfectly designed for a family vacation. The Concierge will recommend activities for children of all ages.

The hotel also offers personalized activities: visiting the kitchen to meet the chef, going sledding, and more.

A babysitting service is available upon request.

Inspiration

Shopping
If you love shopping, Megève is a must-visit destination for luxury stores: Hermès, Swarovski, Napapijiri, Moncler, Lacoste, and even Eric Bompard… they’re all there!

Out for a walk
In winter, the Megève ski area offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy downhill skiing, sledding, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. In summer, the trails invite you to take long hikes: the Tetras-Lyre trail in Le Jaillet, in particular, offers a 2.5-hour hike. A brochure is available to help you plan your future trips.

Zen
Once again, Megève is a little paradise for all spa lovers. The Chalet features its own spa (with an extensive list of treatments), an indoor pool, a sauna, and a steam room. Be sure to check out Les Fermes de Marie, another beautiful 5-star hotel that features a Pure Altitude spa. This superb facility features 17 treatment rooms and invites you to unwind with a menu of treatments highlighting Pure Altitude products. The Spa at Les Fermes de Marie features an indoor pool, hot tubs, and a sauna.

In the suitcase
Depending on the season of your visit, you’ll need to pack appropriate clothing. In any case, waterproof and breathable hiking shoes will come in very handy. Also, remember to bring sunscreen in the summer and pack something a little more elegant for the evening. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
