Now an essential stop on all our trips to California, the Sheraton at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport It has plenty to appeal to travelers—especially if you book a suite, and to top it off, the 366. It actually offers a breathtaking view of the runways: you can see planes taking off day and night, and it’s kind of magical.

Located in Terminal 2E, the Sheraton Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle is, of course, a place for travelers passing through. You’ll rarely stay there for more than one night at a time. Nevertheless, it’s an incredible haven with perfect soundproofing. As you lie in bed, admiring the lights on the runways, planes take off right outside your window without you hearing a single sound—it’s nothing short of a miracle.

When you make your reservation, you can choose to have access to the lounge; access is included if you book a suite. It’s a convenient space if you’d like to have a light meal, enjoy a drink, or get some work done. Please note that food service ends at 8:00 p.m. You can also ask to have a meal reheated for your child if needed.

The suites feature a separate bedroom area from the living room, which is ideal if you’re traveling with your family. The sofa bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, and the Sheraton Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle goes out of its way to ensure your comfort, providing a wide range of toiletries, a toothbrush kit, shaving supplies, and more.

But the real novelty was these capsules—three to four times the size of a Nespresso capsule, but just as colorful. What are they doing in the bathroom? Well, they clip onto your showerhead to diffuse essential oils through the showerhead. No, really? Yes, really. You can choose from six different colors and scents. It’s not exactly eco-friendly, but it’s a really nice idea.

Dining: The Stars

The Sheraton Roissy features a «gourmet» restaurant, Les Étoiles. There you'll find a varied menu featuring many fresh ingredients. The setting is modern and the service is efficient. Several dining options are available, whether you’re in a hurry or, on the contrary, want to take advantage of your stay to explore new flavors.

With the kids

The Sheraton Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle is designed with families in mind just as much as it is for business travelers. Some cookies were waiting for us in the room, and the breakfast buffet is perfect for them.

However, we would like the suites to include slippers and a bathrobe in their size.
