La Samaritaine? One of Paris's most iconic department stores, in an opulent Art Deco building classified as a historic monument. It's not surprising, then, that it might house one of the capital's most exclusive hotels. The impression of luxury is immediate in the lobby: a disproportionately high ceiling, gilded and textured walls, colorful furniture, pieces by artists or from antique dealers from all over the world, and, masterfully, this painting signed by Georges Mathieu. American interior designer Peter Marino also envisioned the 72 rooms - and a 1,000 m² duplex.2 with a beautiful private pool! - which are shared by two axes for Panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame. The palette of soft, pearly hues highlights the works of Philippe Anthonioz, giving each one a calming atmosphere, far from the Parisian turmoil. Saint James Paris

A majestic portal. A tree-lined interior courtyard with a gurgling fountain. And this 19th-century castlee discreetly installed in a forgotten square in the 16th arrondissemente. The bar, hidden in the library with its beautiful bound books, offers the atmosphere of an English club with a touch of the Far East. Settle into a velvet sofa, or enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden when the weather is nice. Descend this Burgundy stone staircase: vaults, marble, and a bas-relief by François Mascarello that stretches along the 15 meters of the pool lend a relaxing atmosphere to this Guerlain spa. The 400 m2 spread over two levels, offering a sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi, and two cabins for exceptional treatments, of course.

Barrière Fouquet's Paris 

His very name resonates like a myth. Starting with this brasserie with its red awnings, proudly perched like a lookout at the corner of Avenue George V and the Champs-Élysées. We sit down at the table of this Parisian restaurant iconic, under the gaze of the most famous actors immortalized by Studio Harcourt. But to see and be seen, nothing beats the terrace! And then there's the hotel, revisited by Jacques Garcia. 101 keys, of distinguished luxury, emphasized with mahogany and leather, a classic modernity tinged with a few fantasies that the famous decorator has a secret for, like this oversized headboard. At first glance, the seventies architecture of this eleven-story building on Avenue George V might leave one pondering. Then, one observes the geometry of its dressed stone facade and its tall windows, all in elegant sobriety. Like this lobby, theatrical in its nudity.
