Among the major hotel chains, Mandarin Oriental clearly stands out as a benchmark for luxury and quality of service all over the world. And the Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is no exception to this rule. Absolutely stunning, the hotel certainly stands out. Combining Catalan style with ultra-modern design, the hotel leaves a lasting impression.

Located just a stone's throw from the shopping districts and restaurants and close to various tourist attractions, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona features 92 rooms and 28 suites. A favorite? Without a doubt, the Terrace Suite with a choice of views of Passeig de Gràcia or the hotel garden. Designed like an apartment, this suite has the major advantage of featuring a beautiful terrace, perfect for dining while enjoying the mild Spanish climate. With a floor area of 80 m², the Terrace Suite is bathed in light, and we love its huge bathroom. The icing on the cake? A butler at your service!

When it comes to dining, you’ll have a tough choice to make, as the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona offers not only a wide variety of options but also exceptional quality. For fine dining, the hotel features two restaurants: Moments and La Mesa. We also like Terrat, the rooftop terrace serving tapas and cocktails: the perfect spot to enjoy a magnificent view of the city. Bright and airy, with a relaxed atmosphere, the BistrEau Ángel León, on the other hand, offers seafood specialties.

When it comes to relaxation, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona has something for the whole family. A babysitting service is available for the little ones, while parents can enjoy a delightful time at the spa. The spa has plenty to offer stressed-out city dwellers: a 12-meter-long pool, deeply relaxing treatments and massages, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, among other amenities.
In a nutshell
- A hotel with a deliberately modern design.

- Suites with terraces that are perfect for the whole family.
Dining: La Mesa by Ángel León
Few restaurants serve such a limited number of guests per seating: just 12! And for good reason—the tasting menu features no fewer than 15 different courses! The combinations are surprising and delightful, and the ingredients blend the flavors of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Among the Michelin-starred chef’s must-try dishes are the seafood soup, the oyster mousse, and the green beans with pink shrimp.
