The Saint-Georges Hotel
After extensive renovations, the four-star Hôtel Saint-Georges reopens this winter, setting itself apart from Megève's hotel offerings with its mountain aesthetic infused with a certain English whimsy. Within this historic chalet, reimagined by designer Luke Edward Hall, you'll find a dimly lit piano bar and a cozy library lounge reminiscent of an English country house, complete with wall frescoes and heavy drapes. This unique ambiance is reflected in the 24 rooms, including five suites. Nestled within walls of patinated wood and wallpapers evoking imaginary forests, the decor features Pierre Frey fabrics, bathrooms with tiles inspired by antique designs, edelweiss carpeting, headboards adorned with pastoral scenes, and floral curtains.
Culinary delights unfold at Le Trappeur restaurant. Between checkered tablecloths, mismatched tableware, and alpine engravings on the walls, the traditional bistro spirit is accompanied by a menu featuring prime cuts of meat and generous platters to be savored by the fireplace. After a morning spent skiing down the slopes, travelers can recharge at the hotel's spa, complete with a sauna, contrast baths, treatment rooms, and a fitness area, while children enjoy the kids' club. This hamlet of nine century-old mountain chalets, meticulously dismantled and reassembled piece by piece, exudes a warm atmosphere where old wood, aged objects, and natural fabrics elegantly tell the story of the Alps. The 70 rooms and suites are distinguished by their unique decor: exposed beams, soft throws, sheepskin armchairs, and subdued lighting. In short, Les Fermes de Marie (5 stars) embodies Alpine quiet luxury.
The Pure Altitude Spa, a true alpine oasis spanning 1,000 square meters, immerses visitors in nature with walls of bark, pebbles, and moss, an indoor pool under a timber frame, a Nordic bath, saunas, and Japanese baths. Complementing the sensory experience, treatments inspired by mountain plants extend the feeling of well-being. The cuisine mirrors the setting: authentic and refined. The Traditional Restaurant and Le Cartnozet revisit Savoyard specialties with finesse, while L’Alpage des Fermes de Marie unveils a seasonal menu in the summer and autumn.

The White Lodges
4-star hotel in Megève, Les Loges Blanches is nestled in the heart of a Savoyard hamlet, away from the hustle and bustle of the resort center. Taking a tour of the’hotel in Megève, Travelers are immediately captivated by the large heated outdoor pool. This is complemented by a Cinq Mondes spa with a superb Nordic sauna.
