Pink brick facade and Art Deco lines, a stone's throw from Le Touquet beach: The Westminster has stood the test of time, looking as good as new. Interior designer Bruno Borrione has taken over the Barrière establishment, preserving its Art Deco spirit, with 104 rooms and suites facing the Parc des Pins, the town, or the lighthouse, in the beiges and blues of the Opal Coast.

Le Domaine de Primard: Chic Countryside on the Banks of the Eure
An hour from Paris, where the Eure river slows among the willows, Catherine Deneuve's former country house has exchanged privacy for a second life as a hotel. This 18th-century Directory-era residence, taken over in 2021 by Les Domaines de Fontenille, Primard offers 39 rooms and suites in the manor house and its outbuildings: powder hues, period paneling, and windows opening onto 40 hectares of parkland.
This park, designed over 30 years ago by Belgian landscape architect Jacques Wirtz, who was also responsible for the Carrousel gardens, has just earned the "Jardin Remarquable" (Remarkable Garden) label. Clipped boxwoods, a rose garden with over 250 varieties, an arboretum, a permaculture vegetable garden, and animals roaming freely along the river: one can stroll here as if in a painting of Giverny, just a few kilometers away.
On the dining side, the establishment has changed its tune: the new address, Ottavio La Tavola, looks to Italy and the great family houses, while Bistrot Martin draws from the vegetable garden and Table d'Hôtes accompanies the estate's vintages.
Well-being is housed in a restored barn called La Maison de l’Orée: 4,800 square feet spread over two levels that hosted, the first in France, Susanne Kaufmann's treatments. Downstairs are a sauna, hammam, and Japanese bath; upstairs are six treatment rooms, including one for couples, a gym, and meditation pontoons set on the banks of the Eure river, where one can lie down and listen to the water. The heated outdoor swimming pool extends the swimming season from April to October. All that's left is to choose a book and a lounge chair: here, time is measured by the passage of swans.

Built in 1910 opposite the château park, the Trianon Palace has looked out over Versailles for over a century.
