CHÂTEAU VOLTAIRE, a stone's throw from the Tuileries Garden in Paris
Here is one of our favorites from’ Hotel in the Tuileries in Paris. A seasoned traveler, Thierry Gillier wanted to create a luxury hotel that reflected his vision of Parisian hospitality. For the founder of the ready-to-wear brand Zadig & Voltaire, it was about opening a place where guests would feel at home, an elegant and refined hotel. Château Voltaire, which has taken up residence in three buildings from the 17th centuryth and 18th centuries, a stone's throw from Avenue de l'Opéra, it shelters behind a facade classified as a historic monument. But, as its owner emphasizes, «Château Voltaire is anything but a set or a recreation, it is a place of today, to be lived in today, by people of today.» The interior design was entrusted to Festen, one of the most creative studios of the moment. Its two associates, Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay (Hôtel Le Pigalle, Les Roches Rouges in Saint-Raphaël, Splendido Mare in Portofino...), called on talented artisans to create a comfortable and authentic atmosphere. The highlight is the duplex apartment with its landscaped terrace. The restaurant L'Emil and the bar La Coquille d'Or have become, in a few months, the haunt of a regular clientele.

Le Meurice, the palace on Rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries Garden
This is undoubtedly one of the most famous palaces in the capital. Due to its history as much as its location on Rue de Rivoli. Pushing open the door of this establishment, under the arcades, is to step into nearly two centuries of history. Picasso married there, Dali lived there with his ocelot (and sometimes his Harley-Davidson...), and even today, Le Meurice is Robert De Niro's Parisian address. In short, an iconic place. Decor by Philippe Starck for the restaurants, cuisine by Alain Ducasse, a Valmont spa, and rooms overlooking the Tuileries Garden... A must-visit.

The Mandarin Oriental, Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré
Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, in the very center of Paris, the Mandarin Oriental could not escape a «haute couture» spirit. In an Art Deco architecture, decorator Sybille de Margerie drew inspiration from the great couturiers of the 1930s (Chanel, Schiaparelli, Madeleine Vionnet) for the rooms. A chic and elegant ambiance that can be found as much in the smallest rooms (still 37m2) as in the superb Atelier and Couture Suites. In addition to its beautiful interior garden designed by François Neveux and Bernard Royer, the palace is distinguished by the cuisine of Thierry Marx at the Sur Mesure restaurant and by its 900m2 Spa.

MAISON ARMANCE, the boutique hotel in the Tuileries district
This adorable boutique Hotel Secret de Paris has settled on Rue Cambon, in the private mansion that was Stendhal's Paris residence in the early 19th century.th century. You need to cross a paved courtyard and take the elevator to the 6th floor.th floor to reach the reception of this atypical and discreet place. The decorator duo Double G designed the hotel like a «couture» dwelling, with a nod to Gabrielle Chanel, of course. Parquet floors, moldings – everything here evokes a Parisian apartment. Art is omnipresent, in the dining room designed like a literary salon and in the guest rooms, whose walls are adorned with original engravings by Laurent Letourmy.

GRAND HÔTEL DU PALAIS ROYAL
A few meters from the arcades and gardens of the Palais Royal, this 5-star hotel It doesn't clash with the very Parisian elegance of the neighborhood. A particularly aesthetic environment, often chosen for advertising shoots and fashion reports highlighting the charm of the capital. The classic style of the decoration and the quality of the welcome at the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal are designed to satisfy a clientele wishing to stay near some of Paris's most iconic sites: the Louvre Museum, the Opera, the Comédie Française... We love the rooms that open their windows onto the rooftops of Paris.
