The Firmdale Hotels associate pretty much everything we love and look for when we travel. After The Soho Hotel from London, it was time to introduce you to the’Covent Garden Hotel. Located just a stone's throw from the very touristy namesake location and on a street dotted with small shops and restaurants, The Firmdale Covent Garden is central while remaining far from the hustle and bustle of Soho. Charming, decorated with all the attention Kit Kemp brings to her establishments, it is undeniably a hotel where you feel at home as soon as you step through the door.

The rooms are all different and decorated with particular care. We love the gigantic headboards, the plush sofas, and the vast bathrooms. We advise you to opt for a Deluxe Room if you are in a relationship or for the Terrace Suite with two bedrooms if you are with a child. The upstairs rooms are the best soundproofed, and you will undoubtedly love the small gift awaiting you upon arrival.

The restaurant Brasserie Max Located on the ground floor of the Covent Garden Hotel, it's an integral part of your stay experience. You'll have at least your breakfasts here, but you'll very likely want to have dinner here as well. The atmosphere is typically London: jovial and noisy. And for a Afternoon tea, head towards one of the lounges: you'll have a sweet moment of relaxation there, settled into one of the wonderful sofas.

In the evening, the’Honesty Bar You are invited to help yourself to drinks and snacks and to note them down honestly. If you really need to recharge, head to the spa. Soholistic Gym & Beauty while Sunday afternoons are spent in the hotel's cinema.

In a nutshell

  • Kit Kemp's interior design is one of a kind.
  • A hotel in the heart of London where you feel at home.
  • A cozy place with a restaurant and afternoon tea so you don't have to go out.

Recharge: Pied à Terre

Not far from Covent Garden is a sublime Michelin-starred restaurant: Pied à Terre. Behind a facade that reveals nothing of the comfort inside, you'll discover a warm place where you can enjoy refined and creative cuisine. Let yourself be enchanted by the wine list and surprised by the flavors. Plan to spend some time and opt for a meal with wine pairings, as they are spot on. Pied à Terre notably offers a vegetarian tasting menu.
