Ideally located Charles Feige Street, the main street with many shops, just a stone's throw from the picturesque church square and its horse-drawn carriages, the Heart of Megève He didn't get his name for nothing! It was completely redone two years ago by interior designer Sybille de Margerie to become one of the most pleasant Hotels in Megève.

The pitch Reopened on December 22, 2018, the Cœur de Megève underwent a complete renovation. Sybille de Margerie wanted the hotel to become «a meeting place, lively and warm, of elegant simplicity, with echoes of a bright past, connected to the present moment.» This 4-star establishment, formed by two combined chalets, displays more than ever a mountain architecture. Indeed, a part of the facade has been covered with tavaillons: wooden tiles that echo Savoyard roofs in a very contemporary way. The decor of the 39 rooms and suites, most of which have balconies and terraces, emphasizes stripped-down, modernized mountain codes: brushed walnut, Hainaut blue stone.

It is observed The headboards and cushions in red, mustard yellow, and emerald green, corresponding to the rooms, cheerfully contrast with the overall scheme.
We appreciate: bathrooms with their ultra-soft taupe ceramic sinks and copper faucets.
We like: La Muse restaurant, with alcoves upholstered with the jacquard pattern of ski sweaters and bordered by large bay windows opening onto the bustling street and the torrent. The menu features revisited local cuisine, seasonal products, and timeless recipes, but also includes touches of Mediterranean cuisine. It is extended by a terrace. At the bar, Le Meige, with an astonishing sculpture of a skier, Thomas Bencze, a passionate mixologist, offers revisited classic cocktails such as 5 different Spritz and healthy creations based on seasonal fruits and vegetables.
The best: The spa features products by Tata Harper, one of the pioneers of the green movement in the cosmetics industry. In line with current standards, these products are plant-based, free of synthetic ingredients, non-toxic, and not tested on animals. They are handmade on a 500-hectare farm in Vermont. Her very first French mountain spa features two treatment rooms, a sensory shower, and a Finnish-style sauna…
