Located in the heart of Paris, a stone's throw from the Opera, the Louvre, the Grévin Museum, and the department stores, Maison Favart promises a stay in a romantic and refined hotel that will delight lovers of the 18th century and the arts.

At the origin of the Maison Favart lies a lovely love story: that of Charles-Simon Favart, director of the Opéra Comique, and Justine Duronceray, a young actress known as Mademoiselle Chantilly. This famous couple of artists founded the Opéra Comique, also called the «Salle Favart,» located just 50 meters from the hotel of the same name... Given this context, it's no surprise that today, we find within it a Romantic hotel among the most successful in Paris!

Now a 4-star boutique hotel, Maison Favart, located in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement, houses 39 rooms and suites. As soon as you arrive, the refined decor immerses you in the 18th century. Stone walls, a fireplace, upholstered armchairs, gilded wooden mirrors, silk, taffeta, or velvet curtains, Toiles de Jouy, delicate tones: almond green, old rose, antique portraits, crystal chandeliers... nothing is missing. The same ambiance is found in the rooms with evocative names: «Baiser Doux» (Sweet Kiss) in powdery pink tones, or «Carmen,» a 36 m2 duplex suite featuring shades of red, "La leçon de danse" (The Dance Lesson) in Toile de Jouy... We loved the ambiance of the 36 m2 suite dressed in pale green, taffeta, velvet, passementerie, bronze, and gold, like an opera set... As for the Petite Maison Favart, the gem of the place, it allows you to enter the cozy apartments of Charles-Simon and Justine Favart: 75 m2 on two levels with a view of The Opéra de Paris, a hotel dreamy.

No restaurant here, but that's not really a problem: there are plenty of quality tables in the neighborhood!

A lounge library, an honesty bar (where guests serve themselves and note their consumption), a wellness center with a swimming pool featuring waterfalls and water jets, a fitness room, a sauna, and a massage room, as well as 24-hour concierge service, complete the offerings of this unique boutique hotel.

Finally, know that this place is proud to have hosted the painter Goya, who lived here in 1824!
