Fleur de Loire: A Gastronomic Odyssey
This U-shaped 17th-century architectural gem has become the culinary haven of renowned Michelin-starred chef Christophe Hay. Transformed into a sumptuous Relais & Châteaux 5-star, this historic site—formerly the Blois hospices—now welcomes visitors with a splendor that captivates the moment they step through the door. The interior, designed by Caroline Tissier, spans 5,000 m² and celebrates the natural surroundings of Blois with modern décor. Details such as the oversized light fixture in the entrance hall evoking the riverbanks, the motifs of local flora on the wallpaper, and the aquatic hues of the guest rooms—reflecting the waters of the Loire—bring the space to life. Its outdoor pool, indoor lap pool, and Sisley spa promise a luxurious experience. However, it is in its kitchens that the magic truly happens. The complex is home to two gourmet restaurants, including «Christophe Hay,» which offers a true culinary spectacle. This restaurant showcases the excellence of its chef, who trained under Paul Bocuse and holds two Michelin stars. The second restaurant, «Amour Blanc,» is equally remarkable, aiming for its own Michelin star with innovative, international cuisine.
