From the elegance of a Michelin-starred restaurant to the authenticity of a terrace surrounded by snow, and the conviviality of a typical mountain cheese restaurant, Megève boasts excellent dining establishments that showcase local produce without compromising on culinary luxury.
The Beef Lodge at Lodge Park
Surely one of the best restaurants in Megeve. At Beef Lodge, within the’5-star hotel Lodge Park, the steakhouse reinterprets the genre's conventions to establish itself as a high-end dining destination with a particularly refined selection of butcher's cuts. Whether à la carte or directly from the butcher's counter, the meats are variously grilled or smoked over different types of wood. Others are marinated then cooked in an Argentinian oven, or slow-cooked for over 70 hours. The result is an impressive beef tomahawk, marinated and flambéed with whisky, a rib steak with perfectly mastered Maillard reaction, or a brisket slow-cooked with spices. A few fish options, lobster rolls, and prawns complete the offering, in a dense and enveloping mountain-style decor, punctuated by animal trophies, raw wood, and patinated leathers, true to the identity of the Lodge Park hotel.

The Farmhouse Inn
Perched at 1,300 meters altitude, the Relais des Fermes is the quintessential mountain address. On one side, a dining room with exposed beams, light wood furniture, and ski posters. On the other, a terrace facing the peaks where you can snuggle under green plaid blankets. This mountain haven, only open for lunch, features French classics (foie gras, leek vinaigrette, escargots) and offers roasted meats and poultry from the spit, cooked over a fireplace, served with Abondance polenta or root vegetables. All these typical Alpine dishes can be savored in a traditional and friendly atmosphere.

The Traditional Restaurant of the Fermes de Marie
Located in the main chalet of Les Fermes de Marie, the Traditional Restaurant showcases market-fresh products, expertly prepared in the kitchen, featuring fish from nearby mountain lakes, meats from local breeders, and cheeses from the Boujon cheese dairy. On the rotisserie by the fireplace, rib steaks, farm-raised chickens, and seasonal game turn delicately, facing a dining room entirely clad in wood. Also notable are the buckwheat crozets with root vegetables, coquillettes with truffles, and the pigeon pithivier with foie gras and black truffle.

The Alpaca Table
La Table de l’Alpaga, adorned with a Michelin star, brings haute cuisine to the summit of Haute-Savoie. Alexandre Baule orchestrates his Gourmet Walks In six or eight courses, highlighting vegetables. Among the root vegetables, garden flowers, and peas, you'll find fish from Lake Geneva, tender poultry, and melt-in-your-mouth meats from local producers. The best part? A food and wine pairing that emphasizes bottles from the region, which you'll enjoy discovering throughout the meal.

The Grand Crus of Fondues in Megève
Difficult to visit Megève Without a hearty fondue meal. You'll need to step through the doors of the 5-star hotel M Megève to discover a unique concept. Swiss Gruyère, Beaufort d’alpage, and Comté with floral notes are enjoyed with bread, but also with vegetables, morels, and even escargot.
