Castel Beau Site
In Ploumanac’h, on the sandy shores of Saint-Guirec, Castel Beau Site has stood since 1928, overlooking the towers of Costaérès Castle rising from their islet. Originally a bed-and-breakfast, then a postwar military vacation residence, the property reopened to the public in 2002 after being purchased by Morgane Le Meur, and joined the H8 Collection in 2018. A member of Small Luxury Hotels—which includes some 40 properties in France—the’hotel in Perros-Guirec features 33 rooms and suites spread over three floors, most of which overlook the sea, while some face the customs officers' trail and the nearby Saint-Guirec Chapel.
On the ground floor, La Table de mon Père serves up Breton cuisine by Nicolas Le Luyer, a chef born in Guingamp who has been at the helm of Le Castel since 2013: Trégor oysters for lunch, cheeses from Maison Bordier, and seafood depending on daily arrivals. The bar showcases its fine Champagne selections—one of the largest cellars on the Côte de Granit Rose—and the Goûter de Martin, created by the pastry chef, is served in the library. Awarded the Clef Verte certification in early 2026, Le Castel watches daily as the tide washes away and then reshapes the beach at its feet.

The Bassans
Above Trestrignel Beach, the former Manoir du Sphinx has been given a new lease on life as Les Bassans, Fontenille Collection’s first property in Brittany. The renovation, carried out using sustainable materials—certified oak, hemp, and virgin wool—evokes the look of a 1930s Art Deco ocean liner.
The 25 rooms of this hotel in Brittany All of them open onto the sea and each is equipped with a telescope for observing the Bay of the Seven Islands, the dance of the seabirds, and the starry skies of a Breton night.
In the dining room, Chef Jean-Pascal Gebka’s open kitchen bases its menu on the day’s catch: shellfish, crustaceans, and a modern take on traditional Breton cuisine. The bar specializes in sea-inspired cocktails—gin with seaweed, vermouth with Breton citrus fruits—while the Alaena spa offers a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, LED facials, and natural treatments overlooking the ocean. On sunny days, La Cabane des Bassans sets up its tables on the Esplanade des Fous: dishes to share overlooking the English Channel, right up until the last rays of the evening sun.

Agapa
Behind its facades of rubble stone and granite, interspersed with glass, copper, and steel, L’Agapa carries on the legacy of a 1930s hotel, taken over in 2003 by Valérie and Antoine Dhénin—the first independent hotel in the Côtes d’Armor to earn a 5-star rating. Six months of renovations, begun in late 2022, added new spaces—a bar and terrace overlooking the Bay of the Seven Islands—in a black-and-white color scheme faithful to both Art Deco and the Breton flag.
The 45 rooms and suites are located in the main building and two villas, La Désirade and Eden Roc, which are connected by a series of walkways; the garden slopes down toward Trestraou Beach.
At Bélouga, Chef Steve Carda blends French cuisine with flavors inspired by his travels, including a panoramic view of the archipelago. The Codage spa spans 400 m² and features a heated indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a hammam, the Ukiyo relaxation area, and a panoramic terrace. At dusk, the bar’s terrace offers a front-row view as the bay glows with color.

Grand Hotel in Perros-Guirec
The boulevard is named after Joseph Le Bihan, a Parisian maître d’hôtel who opened his first establishment here in 1886; the current Grand Hôtel was built in 1914 and expanded in stages until 1955. Fréhel, Édith Piaf, and Sacha Distel would stay there between performances at the nearby casino, built in 1923. Closed in 2017 and purchased the following year by the Kasinos de Bretagne group, the building was completely rebuilt behind its original façade—a €15 million project—to restore its Roaring Twenties decor by 2022.
More than 50 rooms and suites are spread across four floors, with many of them offering a view of the sea. On the first floor, the Jo’Ker—a bistronomic restaurant lined with glass walls—now sits next to the Kasino, which has been brought back into the building. The Ty’Time serves as a tea room, complete with pastries and ice cream; the Roz’Top, on the rooftop, transitions from breakfast to an evening lounge with its 360-degree view. On the fifth floor, the spa is set outdoors: a hot tub, sauna, steam room, and massage tables all with unobstructed views of the English Channel.
