Strolling through the 9 houses from the 17th and 18th centuries that make it up in the heart of the medieval village of Crillon le Brave, the hotel literally blends into the scenery. Crillon le Brave Hotel
A hotel perched on the foothills of Ventoux
A true haven of peace for lovers of elegant retreats, this five-star hotel exudes understated charm. The nine ancient houses are connected by a labyrinth of narrow streets lined with stone walls overgrown with climbing plants, stone galleries, staircases, and small squares often offering superb views... This is a Hotel du Vaucluse which immediately offers an authentic getaway in time.
Welcome news
Reviewed by architect Charles Zana, the hotel has managed to keep its soul. Natural materials like Crillon stone, slate, whitened original beams, antique parquet flooring, and terracotta tiles are the stars. The 16 rooms and 18 suites, most of which have balconies, display a range of whites, grays, and beiges enhanced by terracotta, anise green, and saffron yellow hues on cushions or curtains, echoing the Provençal nature.
This year, the culinary scene is being refreshed with the arrival of Chef Adrien Brunet, a former protégé of Meilleur Ouvrier de France Jean Luc Rocha. In both of the restaurants, the gastronomic La Madeleine and the bistronomic Table du Ventoux, this proponent of ethical cuisine, deeply inspired by the richness of the local terroir, highlights Cavaillon melon, Mazan green asparagus, Carpentras strawberries, Provence lamb, Ventoux truffle, and Thau Pond oysters... The bar has also undergone a slight facelift, where you can sip signature cocktails with fitting names: Lou Papé à la Suze or Manon des Sources.

A refined way of life
After a few laps in the outdoor pool overlooking the vineyards and olive groves below, and lounging on the teak terrace dubbed "Le Coin Tranquille" (The Quiet Corner), it's time to head to the spa. In one of the 3 rooms, located in the former vaulted stables and adorned with large bouquets of lavender, indulge in a treatment from the English brand Bamford. And in the evening, after visiting the surrounding area or perhaps attempting to conquer Mont Ventoux on a bike lent by the hotel, meet on the pétanque court, set up on a terraced area, for a traditional game of boules!
