The Best 5-Star Hotels in Paris
November 7, 2025 Pauline

Havens of peace and refinement for a serene visit to Paris, these hotels hand-picked by our editorial team tick all the boxes for an unforgettable stay: legendary decor, exceptional dining, or unmissable spas... Let's dive in!

Le Brach Paris

Located in the 16th arrondissement, a neighborhood that is both chic and discreet, Brach Paris, 5-star hotel in Paris In our opinion, it is the most emblematic in the capital. Behind its contemporary facade lies a vibrant place where travelers from around the world and neighborhood residents mingle, coming to enjoy the bar, the restaurant, or the suspended terrace with its vegetable garden and Eiffel Tower view.

Designed by the famous designer Philippe Starck, this establishment pushes the boundaries of traditional luxury to offer an experience that is both bold, arty, and deeply Parisian. Far from static decor, the Brach plays with materials, volumes, and colors to create a vibrant, sensual, and warm universe. Every detail tells a story, from the custom-made furniture to the eclectic artworks that punctuate the common areas.

For accommodations, the hotel offers 59 brightly lit rooms and suites, blending modern comfort with a vintage atmosphere. Each room reveals its own distinct character: 1930s furniture, authentic materials, unique pieces, and traditional bookshelves – like a collection of stories – reflecting Starck's signature style, all within generous spaces ranging from 24 to 37 m² for the rooms. The suites, measuring 60 to 210 m², enhance the experience with landscaped terraces featuring Scandinavian hot tubs or jacuzzis. They also unveil exceptional panoramas of the Parisian sky, sometimes offering views all the way to the Iron Lady.

Le Brach also cultivates a particular art of gastronomy and well-being. The restaurant, orchestrated by chef Adam Bentalha, offers a sunny and elegant Mediterranean cuisine. The pastry section, under the direction of Fabien Emery, offers sweets to enjoy on-site or to take away. The Sunday brunch, one of the most remarkable and generous in the capital, has quickly become the weekly ritual for a clientele seeking a friendly atmosphere. With its various spaces (restaurant, terrace, bar, rooftop), Le Brach was designed to welcome its guests from dawn to dusk, like an urban jewel open to all.

In the basement, an imposing sports complex evokes the world of 1930s boxing gyms, with a luxurious twist. Individual sports sessions, group activities, or personalized coaching, as well as expert consultations (naturopathy, osteopathy, Harawell method, etc.) are offered. An elegant Clarins and Precious by Clarins spa area, a sauna, a steam room, a salt cave, as well as two pools (one of which is 22 meters long) complete this high-flying offering.

More than a luxury hotel, it's an inspiring address, where design becomes an experience in itself, a tribute to creative, elegant, and avant-garde Paris.

The Hotel Montalembert

Located in the heart of the mythical Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, the Hôtel Montalembert perfectly embodies the spirit of the Left Bank: sophisticated, intellectual, and profoundly Parisian. It's one of our favorite hotels in Paris, a place where the classic charm of the neighborhood meets contemporary luxury with a touch of softness and character. First Paris boutique hotel, Montalembert has always cultivated this confidential, elegant, and warm atmosphere, dear to the writers and artists who have made Saint-Germain-des-Prés legendary.

Behind its Haussmannian facade, an intimate interior is revealed, subtly renovated, where every detail has been designed for comfort and serenity. Warm tones, noble materials, and soft lighting create a hushed, almost residential atmosphere. The Restaurant in Paris, The neighborhood favorite extends this experience by offering contemporary French cuisine in a setting that is both chic and convivial.

The 40 rooms (15 to 22 m²) and 12 suites (25 to 40 m²) at Hôtel Montalembert give the impression of stepping into a true Parisian apartment. With materials such as aged brass, ebony, and raw silk, they embody the French art de vivre. Some of them even feature a balcony offering a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Located on the 7th and 8th floors, the suites provide a sublime panorama of the Paris rooftops and sometimes even the Eiffel Tower. As for the two signature suites, numbers 51 and 82, they are the work of Anne Jousse, the director of the B Signature Hotels & Resorts group. With their herringbone parquet flooring, precious fabrics, and exceptional furniture, these suites are true masterpieces. Anne Jousse has incorporated her favorite pieces here, as well as a selection of paintings by artist Jean-Pierre Bourquin, whom she particularly favors.

At the restaurant, a true meeting place for locals and professionals in the neighborhood, Chef Cyril Russo offers a refined and seasonal culinary experience, where French cuisine staples are enhanced for the greatest pleasure of the guests. As soon as the warmer days arrive, guests can enjoy the elegant terrace, and when the temperature drops, the cozy and welcoming fireplace lounge charms visitors. In 2024, a spa was also opened at the Hôtel Montalembert, designed by the Batiik architecture studio, to offer a moment of absolute relaxation after enjoying the attractions of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Please note: the concierge, a certified Golden Keys member, will be happy to provide you with their best advice for enjoying Paris and this iconic neighborhood. Le Montalembert is located just a 5-minute walk from the Saint-Germain-des-Prés church, near Rue du Bac, antique shops, and art galleries.

The Hôtel Montalembert thus appeals as much for its exceptional location as for its authentic “Left Bank” spirit, full of character and poetry. A true haven of peace in the heart of the most inspiring Paris, where you immediately feel at home.

Hotel de Sers, Paris

In the heart of the Golden Triangle, a stone's throw from the world's most famous avenue, our favorite boutique hotel on the Champs-Élysées embodies Parisian elegance in all its modernity. Far from the hustle and bustle of large chains, this establishment seduces with its personalized welcome and attention to detail. Each space has been designed as a cocoon, where design, comfort, and refinement blend perfectly to offer a unique experience.

It features everything that makes a true Parisian boutique hotel charming: a limited number of rooms, a unique decor, attentive service, and an almost confidential ambiance. Ideal for a romantic stay, a shopping weekend, or a business getaway, it's the perfect address to experience Paris with elegance and serenity, just a stone's throw from the capital's most beautiful shop windows.

But what makes this hotel truly exceptional is the atmosphere it exudes. You feel a gentle energy, a discreet luxury, a sense of suspended time. Having a quiet coffee under the glass roof, admiring the view of the Paris rooftops, or simply enjoying the silence after the hustle and bustle of the Champs-Élysées becomes a real pleasure. A chic and contemporary refuge, both discreet and vibrant, that perfectly captures the Parisian art of living.

Our favorite: the Marquis Apartment. Perched on the 7th floor of the Hôtel de Sers, it presents itself as a private 75 m² residence designed to accommodate 4 people. It subtly reinterprets the spirit of the Marquis de Sers, after whom it is named, in an elegant, subtle, and bright decor adorned with sculptures, plaster busts, antique paintings, and classic-lined furniture. Every detail has been meticulously thought out to offer the comfort of a high-end Parisian apartment, perfect for an intimate extended stay. We love the wall tapestries, the iridescent beige curtains, the powdery pink sofa, and the cushions beautifully decorated with floral motifs.

This apartment punctuates a complete accommodation offering, consisting of 43 rooms (20 to 33 sq m) and 9 Suites (40 to 60 sq m), including 3 signature suites offering breathtaking views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower from vast sun-drenched terraces.

Le Nolinski Paris

Located between the Louvre and the Opéra Garnier, close to the Grands Boulevards, Nolinski Paris is undoubtedly our favorite hotel in this iconic district of the capital. This 5-star establishment perfectly embodies a certain French art de vivre, combining discretion, refinement, and contemporary boldness. Behind its Haussmannian facade lies an interior signed by the talented decorator Jean-Louis Deniot, where noble materials, deep colors, and plays of light create an elegant and calming universe.

Every corner of this spa hotel in Paris tells a story: that of a place conceived as a refined Parisian apartment, where you immediately feel at home. The lounge, the bright restaurant, and the spa by La Colline invite you to relax and let go, in an atmosphere that is both chic and intimate. The attentive and personalized service helps make every stay unique, whether for a romantic getaway, a business trip, or simply a sweet interlude in the heart of Paris.

What we particularly love about the Nolinski is its rare blend of discreet luxury and bold creativity.

The Court of the Vosges

In the heart of the Marais, facing the majestic Place des Vosges in central Paris, La Cour des Vosges is one of those rare addresses that capture the essence of timeless Paris. A unique place where the charm of history blends with subtle contemporary design. Housed in a 17th-century private mansion, this intimate establishment reinvents the French art of hospitality, combining heritage elegance with inspired modernity.

Each room and suite offers an exceptional view of the square's arcades, creating a direct link to the neighborhood's prestigious past. The interiors, designed by Le Studio Festen, combine noble materials, clean lines, and soft tones for a soothing atmosphere full of character. Here, one can savor a truly suspended moment: a soak in the Roman baths, a sun-drenched breakfast, or a stroll beneath the Marais arcades.

What we love so much about La Cour des Vosges is its ability to combine discreet luxury with the deeply Parisian soul of the place.

The Great Mazarin

The first Parisian address for Maisons Pariente (Crillon-le-Brave, Coucou in Méribel, Lou Pinet in Saint-Tropez), this luxury hotel decorated by Martin Brudnizki is nestled on Rue de la Verrerie in the heart of the vibrant Marais district.

Inside, 50 rooms and 11 suites reveal personalized universes inspired by the Grand Siècle classical period and French decorative arts, through materials and objects from French craftsmanship, manufactured by EPVs (understand Living Heritage Companies). Between delectable soft colors, precious hangings, designer trinkets, and uniquely lined furniture, the striking result is sure to impress!

We sat down at the Boubalé restaurant (a reference to the favorite expression of Ashkenazi grandmothers), run by Michelin-starred chef Assaf Granit, to discover and savor a festive and exotic feast.

In terms of well-being, the house opens the doors to a precious and private haven of relaxation with its indoor swimming pool nestled under an arched, artistic ceiling, hand-painted by Jean Merle.

Saint James Paris

Five-star hotel As confidential as it is emblematic of Paris's 16th arrondissement, Saint James, a Relais & Châteaux property, unveils itself in the form of a family home with a stately soul.

Within 19th-century walls, architect Laura Gonzalez signs a grandiose decoration for the 22 rooms and 26 suites with an atmosphere of a mix and match of Art Deco prints and romantic, exotic, and contemporary influences.

Highlighting vegetables and iodized products, the table led by Michelin-starred chef Julien Dumas proves to be a beautiful gastronomic adventure, while the Guerlain spa on-site, reminiscent of stylized antique Roman baths with a modern touch and marble, stands out as an unmissable stop during your stay!

The White Narcissus

Located on the Left Bank, this Parisian luxury hotel stands out for its discreet and intimate charm, inspired by the world of the star ballet dancer Cléo de Mérode – nicknamed as such by Reynaldo Hahn.

In the heart of a soft, immaculate, and timeless setting, 37 keys were imagined by designers Thibaut and Thierry Fron-Martin in soft, pastel shades and materials, creating cozy and streamlined cocoons.

Signed by the high-end cosmetics brand Clarins, the spa features a counter-current swimming pool, ideal for a bit of aquatic exercise after a day of shopping or sightseeing.

Bruno Aubin, a finalist on the show Top Chef, leads the teams at the restaurant Cléo (20 seats), where modern, reinterpreted dishes sit alongside delightfully nostalgic pastries!

Bearing its street number and name, this historic building (formerly a telephone exchange in the 1930s) with its singular ship's bow architecture has been transformed into a prestigious hotel with a contemporary soul, designed by renowned designer Jean-Philippe Nuel.

The Ritz Paris

At the meeting point of Paris's most beautiful 5-star hotels, the Ritz naturally invites itself as one of the luxurious, essential, and historic places of resort.

Reopened in 2016 after colossal renovations, this charismatic luxury hotel located on Place Vendôme was designed by architect Thierry W. Despont, blending tradition and modernity.

For the 142 keys spread equally across 71 rooms and suites, the decor pays homage to a hushed and refined atmosphere of yesteryear, crafted from the noblest woods and fabrics, while works of art are showcased alongside restored antique furniture.

We're treating ourselves at the Ritz, between a chic brasserie offering light and tasty dishes, or by participating in the famous tea time of the hotel's pastry chef and maestro François Perret: on the menu, madeleines, cakes, and anthology-worthy *barquettes*.

Perfect for an extraordinary moment of relaxation in the heart of the Capital, the Ritz Club & Spa is adorned with marble and opens onto an immaculate and gleaming indoor swimming pool, fit for the movies.
