3 - The Chalets of Mont d’Arbois: the authentic ones
Elegance and nature, comfort and escape: these could be the promises (kept) of the Chalets du Mont d'Arbois. This exceptional address is owed to the Rothschild family, which anchors this exceptional address in the very history of the resort.
We come here for the authentic charm and impeccable service of this 5-star hotel, comprising 40 rooms, including eight suites. The address invites us to rediscover the refinement of Alpine luxury through a balanced, contemporary, and bright decor. A few bohemian touches warm the atmosphere without ever altering its elegance.
Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois are spread across three chalets of Savoyard architecture, named Eve, Noémie, and Alice, in homage to the daughters of Baron Benjamin and Ariane de Rothschild. It is possible to book a single room or, for large families, to privatize an entire chalet. Thus transformed into an exclusive refuge, it becomes the ideal place to feel (almost) at home, while benefiting from exceptional hotel services: the best of both worlds.
Among the must-try amenities are the Susanne Kaufmann spa, with its indoor and heated outdoor pool offering breathtaking views of the peaks. For dining, rediscover mountain gastronomy at the Héritage restaurant, led by Chef Marc-Henri Mazure, who expertly reveals alpine flavors with finesse.

6 – The Lodge Park: The Rejuvenating One
On Rue d’Arly, in the pedestrian zone, a facade of logs and stone stands out from the neighboring chalets. The Lodge Park resembles a North American hunting lodge nestled in its own park, 300 meters from the slopes and just a short walk from the Chamois gondola. The Sibuet family took it over in 1996 and has just completed its transformation: the second phase of construction, set to be completed in December 2025, will make it one of the most beautiful 5-star hotels in Megève—more intimate and exclusive.
Nicolas Sibuet designed the project, and Marie Sibuet styled it. The result is an alpine club where raw wood meets Scottish tartan, weathered leather, vintage trophies, and Ralph Lauren fabrics. The decor continues throughout the 29 rooms and suites, ranging from the 25-square-meter Deluxe room to the 100-square-meter penthouse, including the fifth-floor Lodge Cabin with its sloped ceiling, from which guests can see the village bell tower through the window. The 50 m² Executive Suite features a terrace and a Nordic bath: you step in with heavy legs and emerge feeling rejuvenated.
Yet it is in the basement that this luxury hotel in the center of Megève reveals its most distinctive feature. The 1,000 m² Pure Altitude Spa features 11 treatment rooms, a 12 x 12.5 m indoor pool maintained at 29 °C, an XXL jacuzzi, an ice room, a Kneipp bath, and a Himalayan salt room. In addition to massages featuring mountain herbs, the spa offers whole-body cryotherapy, a hyperbaric chamber, and photobiomodulation—treatments developed in collaboration with The Recode Club. A benchmark for spas in Megève, and a new standard for the resort.
In the evening, the Beef Lodge. Chef Christophe Côte personally selects the cuts, which are served grilled, wood-smoked, or confit for over 70 hours before a final pass through the Argentine oven. You can order à la carte or point to what you want at the butcher’s counter, set up right in the dining room. Then there’s the bar—an “Ice Lodge” in a glass—and the evening drags on. Between this dining experience and the spa, Lodge Park is now among Megève’s top destinations.

6 – Four Seasons Resort Megève: Chic
It is on the slopes of Mont d’Arbois that the Four Seasons opened its doors in 2018, within three sumptuously interconnected chalets. While the amenities of this 5-star establishment may impress, its charm operates instantly. Is it the exceptional surroundings? The Rothschild heritage? Or simply the decor?
It is Pierre-Yves Rochon, the interior designer for the greatest palaces, who took up the challenge of creating an elegant and warm chalet that is both contemporary and timeless, breathtaking and welcoming. A place where art meets nature and where history meets luxury. The panorama of Mont Blanc writes the next chapter in the legend of this already iconic establishment.
Regarding the rooms, there are 55 keys, including 14 suites, all at least 35 m², with exceptional amenities and the cozy mountain spirit. The Four Seasons has many other assets: a 900 m² spa (the largest in the French Alps) and ski-in/ski-out access from the hotel. For dining, the hardest part is choosing between the different culinary experiences, but dining at Brasserie Benjamin remains a must: French cuisine is reinterpreted with finesse, enhancing local and seasonal products. Finally, for family stays, the kids' club completes the charm of this extraordinary hotel.
