For over a century, this boutique hotel «arty,» where discreet luxury and elegance blend, has seen many stars and art personalities pass through. Jean Cocteau (a regular) even painted a mural there that adorns the dining room. 

In this 4-star hotel with a vibe of mountain chalet Elegant and cozy (bearing the Sibuet family signature), vintage is honored: lighting fixtures and solid wood furniture from the 1950s, Vallauris ceramics, collector's items... So many details that make this place so vibrant and timeless. Because Le Mont Blanc is a hotel that breathes authenticity, attracting aesthetes and discerning travelers. 

The establishment comprises 38 rooms and suites, all decorated differently and with an area between 22 and 34 square meters. m2. Carved wooden furniture (chic and rustic) is inspired by traditional French interiors, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Regarding dining, the Relais du Mont Blanc offers a menu that is as delicious as it is inspiring, blending Savoyard, Italian, Swiss, and Austrian influences. After a day on the ski slopes, guests can savor mountain cuisine in a chalet-style setting. Braised beef cheeks, ’croque montagnard", Swiss fondue – the dishes are simple, hearty, and delicious. The hotel also features a beautifully decorated spa for rejuvenation after exertion. Decorated in a charming igloo style, this ice floe-themed center includes an indoor pool, a sauna, and several treatment rooms for relaxation. 2. Mamie Megève: The Kitsch-est 

Overlooking Megève, facing Mont Blanc, this 4-star hotel offers direct access to the ski slopes. For unbeatable downhill skiing, we haven't found anything better! Made entirely of wood, this establishment, which has the feel of a large chalet, features 60 accommodations with a retro-pop decor. In this hotel (owned by the 369° Hotels-Maisons group), there's a gentle and comforting atmosphere, a bit like being at Grandma's! The decor, very eclectic, is a cheerful mix of flea-market finds with fringed, multicolored lampshades, sheepskin rugs, and mismatched bistro tables and chairs. In short, everything has been designed to immerse visitors in a warm, deliciously nostalgic ambiance, ideal for Family ski vacation. Moreover, there are even arcade machines placed in the hotel corridors for the more nostalgic. 

On the side of the rooms, the decor is simple and well-maintained with tartan coverings that match the wooden furniture and velvet cushions, in a Cottage spirit. In total, 60 accommodations with areas ranging from 22 to 33 square meters. m2, with a maximum capacity of 4 people. 

In the morning, an ultra-indulgent breakfast with drinks, pastries, and cakes is offered before hitting the slopes. Throughout the day, a snack bar allows travelers to enjoy soups, charcuterie, jarred dishes, paninis, and more. And in the evening, head to the bar for a local beer or hot chocolate. There is no restaurant on site.

3. Hôtel Au Coin du Feu: The Most Secret 

In Megève, the Hôtel Au Coin du Feu is an almost secret address, slightly set back from the town center (barely 500 meters away). If you are looking for an authentic and peaceful place to settle in, Au Coin du Feu is therefore perfect for a «mountain» getaway. True to the Savoyard architecture of the resort, this independent hotel has been managed since 2013 by Nicolas Grivet. Purchased from the Sibuet family, the establishment then underwent a major renovation and transformed into a charming little gem. In this rustic setting, each object tells a story: local ceramics, deer antlers, a Comtoise clock, etc. Portraits of his ancestors are even visible on the ground floor… The lounge features an open fireplace to relax and warm up after a day of skiing. wellness stay in France.

To experience the mountains with elegance, this cozy pied-à-terre is one of our favorite spots. The hotel has 22 rooms and suites, available in 8 categories: double room, family room, superior room. Some offer a pretty mountain view. The surface area varies between 18 and 24 m2. The rooms are designed as intimate jewels with exposed beams, Arpin throws and cushions, grandmother's chests, and local stone.

On the restaurant side, «Le Saint-Nicolas» is open for dinner only. Chef Marvin Lance, who has been in charge since 2020, is leaving. It was under his leadership that the restaurant rose to a gastronomic level, brilliantly revisiting Savoyard cuisine.

4. L'Arboisie: A Luxury Setting at the Foot of Mont d'Arbois

To live in harmony with nature (and the white flakes), head to L'Arboisie, a 4-star hotel at the foot of Mont d'Arbois. High above Megève, this wood and glass chalet (369° Hôtels-Maisons group) offers an exclusive panorama of Mont Blanc. Designed like a large country house, this hotel is a true institution in Megève. It exudes a family-friendly and warm atmosphere, typical of an Alpine chalet. Completely redesigned by interior designer Chantal Peyrat in 2019, the hotel is cozy and warm, in a country spirit. From the entrance, a crackling fireplace and Chesterfield armchairs invite you to relax.

The hotel comprises 69 luxury rooms, suites, and apartments ranging in size from 20 to 144 square meters. m2. The largest suite can accommodate 10 people. The majority of accommodations have a balcony and a kitchenette.

5. Hôtel Saint-Georges: The Most Arty

The Hôtel Saint-Georges is finally reopening its doors (December 2025), after several months of meticulous renovation. The establishment, located right in the heart of the village and a stone's throw from Chamois lifts is one of the resort's most iconic locations. The Chapitre Six hotel group entrusted the transformation of the site to designer Luke Edward Hall, a virtuoso of mix & match. He envisioned an intimate, pop-infused sanctuary where alpine elegance blends with the whimsy of the English countryside. Under his direction, the chalet is adorned with alpine paintings, vibrant wallpapers, and curated, unique objects that enhance its vintage identity.

With its 29 rooms and suites, the Saint-Georges hotel is therefore turning a new page in its history. The accommodations, whose surface area varies between 19 and 47 m2 are classified into several categories: classic, superior, deluxe, duplex suite, or prestige. The decor, ultra poetic (and personalized), transports us directly into a chic country cottage atmosphere: Christopher Moore fabrics with oak and acorn motifs, edelweiss-patterned carpeting, and antique tiling in the bathrooms.

To warm up your winter evenings, Le Trappeur restaurant is perfect for large gatherings. Chef Jérôme Blanchetière offers typically mountainous but refined bistro cuisine. Guests can also treat themselves to a relaxing interlude in the hotel's spa. On the program: sauna, hot-cold baths, massages. A kids' club and arcade games are also offered to keep the younger ones entertained.
