In Southern India, in Hyderabad, the Taj Falaknuma Palace hotel invites you to a stay combining luxury and a change of scenery. Travel back in time within a particularly emblematic 19th-century establishment. If you've always dreamed of staying in an Indian palace to imagine what the daily life of a maharaja was like, you will undoubtedly be delighted.

The Taj Falaknuma Palace has 60 rooms and suites, and we highly recommend avoiding the rooms in favor of one of the historic suites, or ideally, the beautiful Nizam Suite. With its 180 m2 and breathtaking views of Hyderabad, you will love it. Fancy a dip or some relaxation? The immense outdoor pool awaits you.

A stay at the Taj Falaknuma Palace is designed as a timeless experience. The palace has been completely restored, giving you the impression of staying in a kind of improbable museum: climb the stairs and head to the hotel grounds, whose size and greenery will surprise you. As for your dinner on the terrace, we can bet it will surprise you and that, suspended above the city, your stay will remain etched in your memory.

See the Taj Falaknuma Palace as a bubble of comfort: the hotel has no less than four dining areas. We love the Jade Terrace for tea with a view of the immense interior garden. As for dinner, you'll have a choice between Celeste, with its European cuisine in a Renaissance ambiance, or Adaa (our favorite), which offers refined Indian cuisine.

In a nutshell

  • You are staying in a 19th-century Indian palace.
  • Enjoy the immense outdoor pool.
  • Four restaurants are available to you.

Restoration: Adaa

Adaa is one of Hyderabad's most reputable restaurants, and for good reason. In addition to particularly refined Indian cuisine, Adaa boasts an incredible terrace with a view of the city. Opt for dinner to admire the immensity of illuminated Hyderabad. The service is attentive. Remember to reserve a table near the window to enjoy the view.

With the kids

The Taj Falaknuma Palace is not particularly designed for families with children. Nevertheless, they are of course welcome, and you can all enjoy the hotel's immense swimming pool together.

Inspiration

Shopping
Head to Laad Bazaar: you'll be spoiled for choice with so many colors and scents. It's the place to buy cheap jewelry, but also to discover all the little shops around.

Out for a walk
If you only have time for one visit to Hyderabad, it should be Charminar. Located in the heart of the old city, this imposing monument was built in 1591. Opt for a guided tour to learn all about it.

Zen
The Jiva spa welcomes you for your moment of zen. Without hesitation, opt for one of the signature treatments, the Nawab-e-Khaas, which lasts 2.5 hours! This includes, among other things, body and facial scrubs, as well as an oil massage. Bliss guaranteed.

In the suitcase
Your favorite linen clothes.
