We asked a few questions about the trip to Yann<\/strong> from the blog Night climb<\/strong> !<\/p>\n

Night Scale is filled with chronicles from a passionate traveler who has had the opportunity to journey through many countries. Yann expresses himself above all through his photographs, which are a magnificent way to communicate with his readers. He shares his adventures and memories with us here!<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: For you, traveling is synonymous with...?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It's synonymous with living. I often say that you have to make the most of life so that death has nothing to take from you.<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: What is the first item you put in your suitcase? Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first thing I pack is my camera!<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: When you travel in dreams, where do you go?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I often go to the Southern Hemisphere. In Polynesia or sailing between the Marquesas Islands. In reality, I try to prioritize trips in France and Europe. This is what allows me to combine my work in Paris with my love for travel.<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: Your worst travel memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My worst memory is of an overnight trip in Bolivia where the bus broke down in the middle of the mountains. We were then left in total darkness. And it was I who got out to warn oncoming vehicles to slow down with my phone's flashlight.<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: A perfume that invites you to escape?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The scent of jasmine is, for me, the most evocative smell of travel. It reminds me of summer evenings in Tunisia, but also of India...<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: What is your next destination?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My next trip will be a sailing cruise in the Adriatic Sea. I hope to succeed in taking beautiful photos and capturing unusual and intriguing situations. And why not be a little more experimental in my photographic style? All of this takes time, but I'm trying not to give in to the easy way too much.<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: What is your favorite hotel? For what reasons?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite hotel is the Saint-James in Paris. I've never stayed there, it's a 4-star hotel, but a friend who will recognize themselves showed me this place where I stop by for coffee from time to time. This private mansion is actually an old hot air balloon runway.<\/p>\n

JR<\/span><\/em>\u00a0: What do you do to pass the time on a plane?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To pass the time, I look out the porthole and daydream. I sometimes write articles, which are often the best I can write since there's nothing to distract me.<\/p>\n

I feel at home when I'm at the table with friends. Or when I'm comfortably settled in a bed, even for just one night.<\/p>\n
